GCC Shipping Guide

GCC Shipping, Packaging, and Import Terms

Shipping and export planning for GreenArtis folding screens and room dividers delivered to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

Packaging

ISPM-15 compliant crates using plywood or engineered wood where appropriate. Multi-layer bubble wrap and corner protectors help reduce movement, scratches, and transit impact.

Typical Shipping Options

  • Air Freight: typical transit times of 5-10 days.
  • Sea Freight: typical transit times of 18-30 days.
  • Door-to-Door DDP: all-inclusive freight, clearance, and delivery coordination where available.

Compliance Support

We provide all necessary documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin).

For Saudi Arabia, we support Saber/PCoC documentation requirements.

Site Information Needed

Please provide elevator dimensions, doorway clearances, consignee mobile number, delivery destination, access notes, and preferred receiving window before shipment planning.

DDP vs DAP Shipping Terms

For hotels, villas, and designer-led interiors, the simplest import route is often the one with the fewest unknowns at delivery.

Term What it means Buyer responsibility Best fit GreenArtis note
DDP – Door-to-Door, tax included where available Freight, customs coordination, duty/tax handling, and final delivery are quoted as one all-in route where the service is available. Confirm address, consignee mobile number, access notes, elevator or doorway clearances, and receiving window. Recommended for hotels, villas, majlis rooms, and private residential projects. Choose DDP if you want fewer delivery surprises and prefer one coordinated shipping quote.
DAP – Destination, tax unpaid Shipment is delivered to the named destination, but import duty, VAT, taxes, and local clearance charges are paid by the buyer. Arrange or pay local customs, taxes, final clearance costs, and any destination-side handling not included in freight. Suitable when the buyer already has a local broker, freight team, or company import account. Choose DAP only if your team is comfortable managing destination-side import costs.

Logistics Confidence

Packaging, documents, and after-delivery protocol.

Step 1: Corner Protectors

Edges and corners are protected first to reduce impact risk during handling.

Step 2: Bubble Wrap

Panels are wrapped with multi-layer bubble wrap to help protect surfaces and frame details.

Step 3: Plywood Crate

For export shipments, screens can be packed in protective plywood or engineered wood crates where appropriate.

Damage and returns policy

  • Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos (item, packaging, shipping label).
  • Request within 14 days of receipt (unused, original packaging).
  • Made-to-order / bespoke pieces are reviewed case-by-case and may not be cancellable or returnable once production starts.
